Hello! I help families and couples increase their abilities to effectively communicate with love and respect in order to work through the daily stresses of life.
My specialized training has focused on working with individuals, couples, and families to help establish healthy and appropriate boundaries. My qualifications also include training in working with adolescent through young adult women on the dating process. In addition, I have experience counseling pregnant women and their families.
Additional areas of experience and/or training include: grief, trauma, motivational interviewing with adults who have developmental disabilities and/or mental illness diagnoses, depression, anxiety, anger, co-occurring disorders, couples with infidelity/mistrust issues, and abuse.
As a licensed professional counselor in the Dundee area, I am committed to helping clients function better in all areas of life including mentally, physically, and spiritually. I hold memberships in the American Association of Christian Counselors and the International Association of Trauma Professionals. I am also a doctoral student at Liberty University studying education in community care and counseling with related studies in marriage and family therapy as well as traumatology.
